No big deal, but what is that little white funnel shaped piece of plastic that is attached to the back of the headlights? I can usually figure out how and why things work, this one just looks extra to me.

What SKY #2041 said.

Since the headlamps are attached to the hood, you have to have the hood closed when you align the headlamps. Without that funnel, you'd be poking a screwdriver around for a few months before you found the adjuster screw with the hood closed. If you open the hood, you don't know where the headlamps will be when the hood is closed...


Over on solsticeforum, it was thought to be a drool-catcher for people less fortunate that happen to see a kappa drive by... :lol:

Thanks, just another well engineered part of our cars.

Had an older lady in a Mercedes Kompressor stop, backup, hung her head out the window and said "Sure do like yout car, Its sharp," To be nice I said "Sure do like yours" I lied, would not swap her even.:willy: :willy:
