There has been a lot of talk about this, I have heard from a Saturn Manager that if all production goes according to plan each Dealership will be allocated 15, it was originally 13 but they have up it to 15 per dealership :thumbs: any one heard different??

I heard it will vary according to the size of the dealership and how many sales they have annually...
My insane dealership (palmdale) said 6 per month. I don't have my deposit down yet, is it getting too late? IE I saw a GORGEOUS black sol on the 91 today.. WOW! If anyone switches to sol go for the black super classy. Off subjet sorry I get excited sometimes.
FYI...My dealership has 6 stores in IL...he said about 1 month ago they expect 10 per store for this year.....
First -- math
10,000 cars:D
then
500 dealers:cheers:
20 per..
BUT
Allotments are toward biggest sellers and warm weather states -- so CA may get 40 per -- here in the Midwest 10 is about as good as they do...:cool:
10 for my whole province.

6 = my dealership Regina
4 = Saskatoon

All of them are sold
My retailer said he still has not received any exact numbers for the year... he has 8 with deposits so far... hopefully he gets images for all this year. :willy:
There are two dealers in San Antonio, both called Saturn of San Antonio, and when we ordered ours the salesman said they were getting 11 between the 2 stores. San Antonio is the 8th largest city in the US, so # of cars per store sales makes sense. That is the way it has always been in the auto industry. Your big selling dealers get the best deals and best vehicles.

I was told my dealership will get at least 8... maybe 9 this year... but only has 1 image .. and that was already turned in.. waiting on more... i am still at number 8.. i think.. SkyBaby-07... here in rockford
My dealer says for the first allocation (first 4 months) he is getting 9 and they are all spoken for now...I think some of the figures quoted here are for this calendar year(2006) or for the first allocations, not for the 2007 model year.

Actually in many cases the number IS for the year. I asked my Store Manager and he said - For the year. Again -- 10,000 cars (For the year) is only 20 per dealer. He said he had not heard of any additional numbers. The images will be doled out keeping everyone about equal until the numbers left equal the production schedule. Then the remainders can be ordered as they come in. The "throttling" of production is being done at the beginning to assure that say a Store in CA does not drop all 40 of its allotment at once, but can only order 3 per (week/month - whatever time schedule) to keep distribution even. Once 50% of the stores (like in the Midwest) have used up their 10 car allotment - this allows the stores with 40 to order at will.

My GM told me that way it works.. AND AGAIN THAT IS WHAT THE GM SAID... NOT ME.... that the BIGGER POPULUS gets more cars... and the smaller ones...fewer cars... etc. etc.... too may assumptions going around... WOULD THE REAL ANSWERS PLEASE STAND UP AND BE COUNTED?!!!!! I wish EVERYONE was told the SAME thing so we would all be on the same page... you know, like page 174... and the book only had 200 pages in it... SO.. THE END IS NEAR... that is just me hoping... Allocations are based on a ranking formula.

(Previous years sales of cars) + (Sales of other brands Roadsters/Convertibles in that area)

At one point we actually had the list of of cars, but I'm not sure where that is anymore.
Numbers

My dealer said 12 for the year, if all this is true there will fewer first year SKYs than first year SOLs...????I wonder how the value will hold up between the too...

There was always going to be more Solstices built then SKY's... hopefully that does bode well for value. :cheers:
