We should take odds on this one. I am flying home to Toronto area on Friday and dropping in on the dealership Saturday, then flying out 6 am on Monday. I bet you all anything that I will get home and after the May 11th (whatever they are doing) I will get a call to come back and get the car, I also bet that they are up there in Canada, most likely in rail cars that are covered up completely so us poor Sky drullers wont see them. IF my number is 01259 and others are showing up higher than that, well I just think they are hidin them on us poor folk:banghead:

Why are you buying your car in Canada if you live in the States as well? I don't know your living arrangements, but I believe I would have preordered the car in S. Car. then transferred it to Can. if reg. etc. plays a role in it.

I am a Canadian living in South Carolina now, I ordered my car in Canada because I have excellent credit there, here I have not built it up yet, my business has great credit here but I have not bought much to develop a personal credit rating. I go home to Canada a lot and still have all my family there and it is still my roots but I love living in in the South, people are wonderful and the warm weather is terrific for driving rag tops

It is 5K cheaper after currency conversion in the states...you should have gotten a loan in Canada and purchased it down there. Even if you paid 3 or 4 percent higher than GMAC rates you would still be ahead of the game.

Oh well too late now...but that would have been ideal

Hopefully if the car is in your dealer will make some kinda concession for you given your situation.
