My site had a "dyno day" for our members to come down and see what their cars are putting to the pavement. It's pretty cool to see these cars that stock are anywhere from 120 hp to 300 hp (crank) are now pushing 168 whp to 429 whp/awhp with mild to wild modifications....... Take notice to the S2000 in the video......

Are you sure you don't have those figures backwards? WHP is always less that crank HP do to drivetrain losses.....

I know, none of the cars in the video are "stock".....Like I said, its cool to see cars that put out those low ### at the crank stock, put out such high numbers at the wheels.......Watch the vid, you'll see

sorry can;t watch it, don't have quick time, and you did not say that in the origonal post about them not being stock, the way it reads is they were stock.. read it over again...
I dunno, reads fine to me, I guess I should've used a comma after the "120 to 300"......

You mentioned the stock crank HP then you mentioned the WHP, It was easy to assume that you were talking about stock all around. You never said the WHP was in modified form in the first post. so I assumed you had the two HP figures backwards... A comma would have made no difference.
Sorry to be picky, But it is a little confusing, You may have known what you were thinking at the time but I sure didn't...
It's like saying , I weighed myself yesterday and I weighed 150 pounds and this afternoon I weighed 160 pounds, without saying when you weighed yesterday you were nekkid and today you had your clothes on and a 5 pound tool belt....
WOW!

I edited my original post.....

I'll be sure to be more descriptive in what I say on these forums from now on, but this thread has a video that basicly explains it all for you, I'm sorry you're not able to view it. IMO it's common sense when you see wheel horsepower numbers higher then crank horsepower numbers that a vehicle isn't stock. unless of course we're talking about an SRT-4 that mopar says is 205 crank hp stock, and magazines say is 225 whp stock
