Take a look at this. I don't know why G.M. is SO cheap when it comes to horns in the last few years. The Sky horn is just as sorry as the horn in my 2003 Silhouette.

The post references Fiamms, but clones are available at parts stores everywhere.

How about an air horn?

Bob, you got me thinking ...

A.) If the horn isn't adequate (I don't know, don't have my car yet); and,
B.) People are indeed causing dangerous situations to see people's Sky's ...

Wouldn't an air horn be a possible solution?

The first accessory I put on any new motorcycle of mine is an air horn because "loud horns save lives," and the stock Harley horn is worthless.

I could see the benefits of a little under hood air horn on the Sky. Little car, big noise.

I assume they make such a thing but have never looked? Might it be a good idea?

The stock horn is certainly adequate. But it is a mono tone thing that sounds like s#!t!!!!!!!!!:cuss: I know of the air horns that have been available for a long time, but the Fiamm electrics are small, and just as loud.

Clones aren't really clones.
I was in a NAPA store and they had their horn in their package with their label but when looking into the package the name molded on the unit was FIAMM.
