Image-Order-Insurance?

I had my order wrote up last week 28,300 total out the door. The image was completed today and accepted. I called my insurance company and told them to expect a new order soon. They told me they had no info on the Saturn Sky. Has anyone found any insurance quotes yet? If so what insurance company. I called my salesperson back and she said as soon as they get the vin. she will call me and that should help with insurance. I must again thank all the Senior Members and Moderators for there help in dealing with this transaction. I knew what to ask for and what to insist on on the pre-order and the final order from the information on this site. My dealer is the best and he has gained a Supporter with a very big mouth and a preatty big network. thank you everyone for all your help once again.

If you just want an idea on cost, you can estimate it by telling them to quote you on a 2006 Sol. That should give you a general idea as far as cost. You won't be able to get an accurate cost for the Sky until you get the VIN to them and even with that, they may not be able to give you a quote right away. :banghead:

My Sol is costing me about $300.00 a half ...about $58.00 per month or $2.00 a day !!!
My other 2 vehicles ( a 2001 Sonoma and a 2004 Rendezvous) cost me only $450.00 a half
I'm 58 and accident free for over 10 years.
When I asked - with my record -why so much for the Sol I was told...
a....it's new and they have no real hard data
2. it's a sports car...tradition says it costs more to insure

PS we live in Ohio
good ideas

Thanks for the info. Both good ideas. I'm in my early 40's with no accidents. I would figure replacement cost would be a cost factor. My Cady cost almost twice as much new and the insurance is reasonable. I have 4 cars insured now so I hope this won't be way out of line, but i guess you got to live with it.
Put $500 down on Sky this weekend, same same with my insurance company wanting a VIN to even give me a rough quote. Told her to look up the Solstice & that should be enough..still waiting for $ amount.

I called my Insurance company (State Farm)and the quote for a Solstice will cost 289 every 6 months.. less than my 2004 Chevy truck I had.
