Gee thank you -- looks like out of 2000 cars there may be as many as FIVE (OH MY GOD -- five-5-cinco-V...) That have minor problems...
Well it looks like the entire SKY line of cars is a complete FLOP!
I bet {insert name of any vehicle on earth} would never have 5 cars with minor repairs in their shops -- I mean after all, there are only 7-8 mechanics in the WORLD! From what I hear they are nearly starving to death for lack of problematic cars.
What will we do? What CAN we do?
How can we the little people (speak for yourselves I'm 240 lbs...) cope with this disaster?
If it weren't for valiant and brave people to point out that these problems exist on 4-5 cars over and over and over and over and over again we might not notice...
Of course the FACT that Saturn is responding well, has a system in place to track and report EVERY little problem, to see if the defects are individual or traceable to a systemic problem, has no bearing...
Five cars a DOOMED to be plagued with problems... They might explode, spontaneously combust or even spell the end of mankind as we know it (hey I'm mankind, damn glad to know ya...). We all know once a car has experience a rubbed wheel well, gone through a isolated body panel crack or --- Heaven forbid -- has a bad computer chip (hey where are all those who said -- "When they make computers they don't have problems..." Perhaps they can't sign on today cause their computer isn't working)
This has lead me to cancel my order and I will buy that other car that will let me watch it as it is built to make sure that know-nothings that run the automotive business build it carefully -- I'll spend whatever it takes to pass the rigid testing required -- making sure only the finest materials are used -- perhaps I'll do destructive testing on every other part -- just to make sure the is no systemic defect overlooked by the engineers (After all this may be the first car they ever designed)... Then after I make sure every stitch is perfect (not acceptable -- PERFECT) each cup holder is custom positioned to where I need it; yet will not accidentally open. Once every thing is just perfect -- I want them to slap that baby together in 10 minutes and get it to my dealer overnight and I will not pay 1 penny over $26000.00 for it...
At least I won't be DOOMED to having a car... at all.
