Thank you for your loyalty to the Saturn brand. Terilynn, the Saturn
retailer would have more detailed information about the SKY, since they
sell the vehicles daily and would receive the most up to date
We are aware that each marketing area will only receive 2 vehicles at
start of production. Under regular production it can take from 8 to 10
from an order being placed to the time the owner takes ownership of the
vehicle. With the SKY just starting up, the waiting period may be
would think if you are number 9, that you would be the ninth person to
receive a SKY which is delivered to your retailer.

Now, now SkyBaby, lets not make hasty decisions, you know that you will never be happy unless you are driving in your SKY. Notice the use of the word "can" & "may" in the above text, that there is a use of non-definite terms used in speculation answers. Looks to me like a standard "cover yourself" Leave the door open to change type of a definite maybe answer.
Since I believe the demo images are well on their way on the assembly line,
The line should be ready to roll pretty quick, and if you believe the SKY calendar hints, the day they hit the showroom the plant will be more than capable or handling orders expediently, After all it doesn't make sense to have a demo car in the showroom and not be able to get delivery for weeks when you are standing there staring at one already built. This excludes car shows where mock ups and hand builts abound. Just food for thought. Trust me the demand for this little roadster will be so great they might even slow the SOL or stop the Sol production for a whule just to meet the demand our baby is going to cause.
they are well aware of this, believe me, and are just covering themselves in case of problems found on assembly that cause production slow downs or even halts. They do not want to give definites because they can't be pinned down that way. So just sit back and stay with us SkyBaby, your presence on this forum is wanted and needed. All of us are destined to be be SKY owners, don't fight it, roll with it!!
