Just drove it home. Kinda exhausted now. My bedtime is usally around 10 am, so more details later. I did notice a plastic burning smell when I got home. I can get my fingers easily between the tires and the wheel wells and there's no visible signs of rubbing. Any ideas?

The white plastic film that protects the car on transport may have gotten stuck to the bottom of the muffler or another part of the car that would get hot enough to eventually melt the plastic causing the smell. Take a look underneath and see if anything is stuck to the bottom of the car.
CONGRATULATIONS...... I AM SO DAMN HAPPY FOR YOU!!!!! SkyBaby-07
That makes sense. Don't see anything right now but I do think is coming from underneath. Thanks for the quick reply!
That's cool -- It is so great seeing all the people who have been hanging in here finally getting their SKY!!
This is GREAT news!
It's been a long time coming. You've been with us a long long time. Congrats to you!
Congrats man! Enjoy it as it only gets better in time!
Congrats!!

You lucky devil you! I will be waiting for quite some time still.
Sometimes the exhaust systems of new cars make that smell for the first few hundred miles. - Congrats on getting your car!

Mine had the same smell for the first 100 miles. It then went away.
No problems since. Congrats on the new ride.

Same here. It was there for a while, then gone. The manufacturing process will leave all sorts of residue on components (that dreadful "new car smell") and some off those burn off after the first few minutes of heat. My car had 12 miles on it - no dealer demos or test drives. I'm guessing yours is the same...

My salesman warned me about the smell. He said something about a coating they put on parts of the exhaust system. Once it burns off, its ok.
I am glad you finally got a vehicle to put that plate on. Good for you. You're are going to love it!
