I have searched past posts as best I could and found people selling Kappa Attic but not answering my 3 questions. Are they worth the cost, do they actually work without sagging and do you have to remove it when you go top down?

For the last one...it depends on what you have in there. It's going to rest right on top of the rear glass when the top's down. A few small papers, probably not. A cell phone...I'd think most definitely you would need to take that out...packed full of stuff? Yea, I'd remove it to put the top down. Mainly just for that back glass.

That seems like a lot of crap to go thru. It's built to hold more than just a few papers. Taking it down every time then putting it back up seems to negate the convenience thing. Maybe in the Florida summer when it's just too hot to do top down but still. Thanks Robo.

I find mine very useful and would recommend it. I leave mine in place all the time (no need to remove to put the roof down) - with my GPS, Charger, Easy Pass etc. in it all the time

There are downsides, but they can be overcome:

1) yes it can be saggy. I get around this by simply using a couple of velcro straps wrapped all the way round. They should've done this from the factory.
2) the zipper handles and dangly straps bugged the crap out of me, so I cut them off and replaced the zipper pulls with short metal loops. YMMV

And it doesn't come down on the glass? That was always my only concern. Interesting...

Brad...u will be happy with it...trust me, if u can. lol. Teresa had one in her car. I saw it and it was perfect. YOU WILL NEVER NEED TO REMOVE IT ONCE INSTALLED. But it will need additional velcro strips as TS stated.

If u read this before Sunday...just left a voicemail on your cell. Ignore it. I was responding to a PM u left 6 months ago. DUH!

No, it's nowhere near the rear glass (if that's what you mean), even when folded into the trunk.
That was where I was concerned. I know it's not near the rear glass when the top is up. Just from the pictures I've seen I'd think it would be right on top of it when it was down...and I already have to push the top down a bit when collapsing it to get it fully seated before closing the trunk.

I have had one in my car since I got it. No problem with it in any way. Robo I think you drove mine with the top up. No damage to rear window or area that I have ever noticed. I would not agree that it is a fantastic option, but it does come in handy. Gives you some extra space, which most of seem to need. I have another one running around somewhere. The other half did not want it in here car for what ever reason.

No worries MM. I'm gonna continue working with you untill you have a break thru. There is light at the end of your tunnel. Do not despair.
