Just got home at 7:30pm. Lynn and I had a really enjoyable time, just wanted to say thanks to Steve, Gary, Bill, Brad, Marty and Lisa, Loretta, Doreen, June. Uh, Lynn told me all your names again, cuz I have such a good memory, lol. I would also like to thank all the whales and the lone "haba" seal that showed up for our boat ride too!! Not forgetting the waitress at "Pacas Pub either for having such a fine Pilgrim accent which brought back memories of living up there. I would also like to thank the Highway Dept of Provincetown for the scrape on the bottom of my car, which is a momento of the visit. A thank you to Walgreens for letting us take over their parking lot and to that nameless employee who took this photo.
One last thank you here, to Pontiac for making my Solstice Coupe, without that, I would never had met this group of enjoyable people.
Sunrunner, were you driving on Commercial in PTown Sunday afternoon? I think I saw you pass by while I was sitting on a bench relaxing. I pointed out to my partner a yellow Sol Coupe when it went by. Didn't catch the plate but I do know about the chin scrape. Probably the same place I got mine over the weekend.

Well, I guess I should start by apologizing to all of you. I dont know why I thought life would be any easier once I got older, but it surely isn't. I posted about the golf tourney mix up and how we were still going to try to make it Friday night. Well, the wife took ill on Friday and was in no mood to go. Then one of my guys called me ( I am Chief of the rescue squad in our town; jaws of life and that kind of stuff) that his Mom was rushed to UMASS hospital with a ruptured aorta. She did not make it. The funeral was today. The weekend was messed up. I enjoyed the Putnam show ( Lil' Pnut and I ) and I hope to make more. Sorry I missed out.:(

Yes, that was us and we did see you too as you drove by, earlier on Commercial St. The plate reads SUNRUNER also. This was our first time driving in P-town in Sept and didnt expect it to be that crowded after Labor day. Normally, we go there in late Oct and early April before the tourists get there. I see that bump in the road got you too. I checked mine on the lift in my garage when I got home and its quite minor if that at all.

We are going back to the Cape in early Oct, but this time we are taking our Challenger for one last big run before winter sets in. I dont consider myself a tourist up there because I lived there for about 16 years before moving back to NY.

Hey, lets do this again, rain or shine, next year! Maybe we can make this an annual event. Maybe, we can arrange for Blondies to host a Sky/Solstice car show too, lol.

Cool.. Yeah, the chin scrape is minor on mine and in the same spot the last one was so not much to worry about.

Well that weekend was the Harbor to Cape bike run, our car club event and Swim for Life so lots going on which is the usual for the weekend after Labor Day.

Enjoy the Oct visit. Hopefully the weather will be better than what it was Saturday.

If you do it on a Sunday, careful there is some major event going on on the Cape that blocks traffic for hours. Our club knows about it and most try to escape before it starts in the morning. A Saturday is out for me due to my car club event.

 You will have to get inline. Both my sons want it, then there is my neighbors, all the kids in Northville, the people who work at the dunkin donuts that i frequent, most of the people at the Toyota dealership that I did work at, and a few others. Now, thats just on the Challenger. I have two interested in my Jeep Rubicon, One on the Corvette, and 2 on the Crossfire. On the Solstice coupe, way too numerous to write here. Of all my cars and trucks, the Challenger and the Solstice are the only ones I would keep long term.

The question is, which one is faster?
