Well???? C'mon folks....

Brentil???? Delnari????? What do you think of the pictures? Do one of you know? My husband looked at the left picture and said that it looked "pressed"???? and the pic on the right looked like it was taken somewhere because you can see a reflection in the paint..... Curious minds want to know here!!!!
Angelqute I can tell you that the picture on the right was taken by me at the Santa Rosa Saturn dealership about a month ago. Someone wanted a shot of the light working. The one on the left must be a Saturn promo shot. By the way, when will the Sky be at the Van Nuys dealership?
Saturn of the Valley will be hosting the SKY a week from tomorrow, Tuesday, Nov. 1 and Nov. 2. I was thinking of going Tuesday night around 7ish. Are you planning to go?
No I won't be able to make it. I',m in Sacramento, but I wanted to tell me daughter about it so that she could stop by and check out the Sky. She's in Studio City. Enjoy seeing the Sky. When I went to see it in Santa Rosa it was awesome. I spent 2 hours taking photos and taking with the sales people. This last weekend I stoped by my Potiac dealer and saw the Solstice. Sat in it to get the feel of how I would fit in the Sky. It really felt great. The short throw shifter was real smooth but about six inches to far forward. You have to reach for it. Not like and 59 MG where you can do All the shifting with just wrist movement. In the Sol you have to move the whole are to shift. Also played with the top. It move real easy. The wings just snap in to there support holes and when you press the button to release the clam shell they release also and because the are spring loaded they just snap into there upright position. There really is no trunk space. The picture that showes a golf bag in the trunk must have been a kids bag. No way could you fit a full size golf bag in ther with the top down, Maybe with the top up but I dought it. Any way have fun this weekend.

Most car brochures and "pre press" release photos are all computer rendered. Yea, they look like photos, but they are not. Look very closely at any glossy car brochure and you will see it is too perfect - especially the lighting.

The photo on the left is from the very first announcement of the Sky back at NAIAS 2005 last Jan. Being the first pics ever of a Sky I'm pretty sure that might also be the first hand built Sky ever too. The one on the right is a more recent possibly hand built or early pre-production car. There were small changes between the Solstice NAIAS launch and the final product, so I'd not be suprised to see small changes like these as well.
