The following was reported in my local paper here in Delaware:
Dennis Dougherty, plant manager at General Motors Corp.'s Boxwood Road plant near Newport, is leaving to become plant manager of Pontiac Assembly in Pontiac, Mich. Robert Dolan, current assistant plant manager in Newport, will replace Doughterty. Dolan began his GM career at Boxwood in 1970. He has held a variety of leadership positions in different plants, including director of manufacturing engineering in Oklahoma City and executive of engineering for GM Overseas Corp. in Shanghai, China. Dolan and Dougherty will begin their new assignments Aug. 1.
