The rad is off to the side? weird... that'll be hard to access if you ever have problems, or have to re and re.
no, i imagine thats with it set up for FWD.... it would need to be updated for RWD.
It's been a while, but I believe that's the intercooler.
oh, i see... intercoolers and radiators look a lot alike :D
That's a FWD Turbocharged SAAB or Vauxhall/Opel engine. The little radiator is the Turbocharger intercooler.
Cool links, cool pics.

I didn't think the Ecotec had a timing belt:

Does the 2.0L Ecotec in the base Sky (and also the one we think will be in the Red Line) have a belt or chain? My Vue's 3.5L Honda engine has a belt and I'm not looking forward to having to change it.

The ECOTEC in the Sky is actually a 2.4L VVT engine, and yes it uses a timing chain I believe.

You are correct there... The Sky's 2.4 ltr ECOTEC has a Chain and not a belt. Same engine we have now as an option in the Enhanced Performance Package for the Ion 3 Sedan and Quad-Coupe... :D
