Let's be honest here...
Come on guys (and gals), lets be honest with this guy - there are hazards associated with the Sky that he needs to know about and it is our duty to give him fair
WARNING!!!
First you'll spend A LOT of time on this forum. It will start off searching for pictures of the color combo of Sky you are thinking about... then you'll look at the others combos and when you realize there are many that appeal to you... well let's just say you'll wake up in the middle of the night to take one more look.
Once you get over this, you’ll read about all the problems (like the ash try thing -
http://www.skyroadster.com/forums/showthread.php?t=8695). OMG if this doesn’t scare you away then how about that list of twenty plus quirks, including those early production Skys with foam things in the trunk (
http://www.skyroadster.com/forums/showthread.php?t=6968).
Then how about the idea that there are soooo many out there already and you won’t be unique (VIN listing -
http://www.skyroadster.com/forums/showthread.php?t=5561) and you’ll blend into the commuter traffic. But since you have a vet, you know all about this problem, well sort of.
But don’t forget about all those things that SHOULD have been included in the Sky and it took the consolidated effort of this forum to point them out (
http://www.skyroadster.com/forums/showthread.php?t=8429).
Most importantly there is the life style changes that you will undergo, and pay attention here, this is serious business and could effect your health and family (My Sky Sent Me To The Hospital
http://www.skyroadster.com/forums/showthread.php?t=8479 and Confessions of a Sky owner
http://www.skyroadster.com/forums/showthread.php?t=8154)
Well that is just a quick sampling and if you are still up for the challenge, then stick around, read on and come in from the dark side.
