NOPI Nationals is the BIGGEST car show in the country.

It attracts over 7,000 cars and almost 100,000 spectators.

I have been going for since 2000 and it is amazing!!! GM has a large set up there and I have been able to make contacts with reps that are there.

Here is a quick list of activities:
Car Show
Swimsuit
Hydraulic Comp
Dyno Comp
Burnout Comp
db Drags
IASCA Comp
USACi Comp
Ludacris Concert
Flunkmaster Flex
Drift Festival
Super Street Tour
Canadian Tour
XBOX Lounge
West Coast Customs
Featured Models
NOPI Chic Calendar
Scavenger Hunt

Best part of the Super Street and Canadian Tours is...

The only problem is they put "deterents" in 2 of the corners to prevent too aggressive behavior...

It does attract anything and everything... and I mean EVERYTHING!!!

This is about a 3rd of it...

I think it would be a great event for a national meet... be advised though... it is not your regular parking lot cruise in... the majority of participants and spectators are 16 - 30ish... in body or in mind...

Anyone interested in making it a national meet??? It is September 15th, 16th & 17th this year... but mainly the Saturday and Sunday... the SS Tour starts on the Thursday morning before in the North-East and Mid-West.

I'll be there again. Hopefully we have a better showing this year. Wasn't really impressed with last year compared to the few years before

Hey all, just a quick update... so far, there are 6 or 7 SKY's out of the 2,300 already registered... with just 1.5 weeks remaining. The reason I say 6 or 7 is that one was registered before they added the SKY to the registration form as Non-Listed Car and the guy she is with also has a Saturn. SO just a guess.

Here is the list...
Reg # - Name - Hometown - Year - Vehicle - Parking Area
710060 - David Adler - BINGHAMTON, NY - 2007 SKY - GM ALL
711731 - George Debidart - CORNELIUS, NC - 2007 SKY - SOUTH ALL
711598 - William Debidart - KERNERSVILLE, NC - 2007 SKY - SOUTH ALL
711435 - George Debidart III - KERNERSVILLE, NC - 2007 SKY - SOUTH ALL
711433 - Daryl Rinkavage - KERNERSVILLE, NC - 2007 SKY - SOUTH - ALL
710383 - Stephanie Singleton - RUTLEDGE, TN - 2007 SKY - GM ALL
710047- Hannah Wood - PHENIX CITY, AL - NON LISTED CAR - NORTH ALL

Anyone here on it besides me??? And wow... 3 in one family?!?!?!

Also, any idea why there are no Solstices registered???
