I did a photo-chop.... I had always wanted the silver pearl, but I really LOVE the way the car looks in the darker silver, since the 'a-pillar' and the spot behind the seats stay silver. I really like the contrast of the two silvers. It also looks really great in black and bluestone. Here's some pics. (I think the actual silver graphite will be lighter, and i'm not gonna want it unless its this shade..)

Oh yeh, I changed the red seats to black, I just don't like the red... I think it looks ok, but all black looks so hot!! Now that theres no red dash, I guess the red might not be so bad... Anyone know how much the red leather will be anyway??

I agree the silver graphite looks great. I almost picked that color but was unsure because there weren't many photos of this color. But after seeing the photos of the midnight blue and seeing the color in person on a Relay, that's the one I decided to go with.

In reply..

Yeh the only color that I think is kinda iffy is the green. I just don't think cars look good in green. I prefer silver, grey or black. BTW, when you put your deposit on the Sky, do they pre-qualify you or does all that financing stuff come later. I will probably just pay cash for mine, so if they try to get me to pre-qual, then they can kiss my a$$! (bad credit....)

My SC2 is green...lol. When I put down my deposit the sales manager told my salesman to wait till we actually order the car before looking into financing.

help with color choice!

I have seen a black Soltice and the paint was so bad do to orange peel. Has any one else seen this on a black Soltice or one of the traveling black Sky's. I think I want a black Sky but if it has this much orange peel I will go with red. With the Soltice and Sky coming off the same assembly line I would think this would happen to the Sky's paint job.HELP!!!!!!!!

I think the Midnight Blue looks really great. I'm still favoring the graphite silver or the silver pearl. I wish I could see them in person so I could make a firm decision.

You don't do financing till you buy.

That's right and you are always best off pre-qualifying with your bank (Credit Unions are usually better). I am thinking about paying cash, but I will weigh the options based on the %.

The issue I am having with colors is I am #2 at my store  but I like Bluestone, which will be last to debut. I just wonder if it is worth waiting for a color I have not seen.

BTW, does GM use that color on any other car ... or is there any other car close to that shade?

Many of these colors can be seen on the Solstice (not sure if they are exact, but close). The Solstice has a dark grey with the silver accented windscreen, but the grey does not appear to be metalic and looks very dull. Check them out.
