[Eye on Sky]

Went to see Sky last night. A very impressive prototype. A dark blue model. The General manager there said to me that yes there will be a webcast on the second, but he did not expect ordering to begin then. He also said he thought every dealer would get 2 a month on equal distribution, only four color choices also. It will be interesting to see if this dealer is correct or my dealer at home, or the many who have chimed in on this forum as to release and distribution.

Saw it in person

I saw a Silver SKY in Fort Lauderdale on Friday December 2nd (same day as the conference call). I asked the Saturn guy in charge of the car about the conference call, and whether allocations would be announced, and also when we'd be able to place actual build orders.

First, he was quite impressed that I knew about the conference call.

Second, he said allocations would likely NOT be announced.

Third, he said "soon" on the ordering.

Finally, he said "You must get your information on SkyRoadster.Com. Don't believe more than 10% of what you read there".

That may be all well and good, but trust me, I knew more than any other potential buyer or sales person... and I got most of it here...
