Oh don't kid yourselves the solstice forum isn't much better. When ONE of the latest hot topics is 25 pages about a battery question and where the OP goes on about discussing getting naked with his date on a picnic, making love (fucking) and driving home nude, ........well what else is there to say? Not to mention that the average age over there is probably 130 years old! YIKES!
Well...that does sound like a fun conversation....lol

Let's not turn this thread into something it shouldn't be, okay? Back on topic...
Getting this back on track...

That is about what I paid for my 07 base in 2014...nice to see them holding value like that. And that is a good price for an ECM replacement. Do you have a tech2 for the security handshake stuff?
Don't have a tech 2 I'm in the auto parts business and purchased an ECM pre-programmed. Plug and Play. I just purchased a LAUNCH CRP129X Scanner. I need for work. It already paid for itself. I replaced the Right Rear caliper as the piston was broken. Could not spin it in. It would just spin the internal threads were stripped. So I need to reset the Brakes/ABS because they pulled a little bit. After I reset them with the scanner, they work perfect. Plus now have no codes at all. You can do a Key relearn without a tech 2 There's lots of info on how to do it. something like Insert Key turn to on do not start. Leave it for ten minutes then turn off for one minute then repeat three times. The security light will go off. It will start after that. The ECM must be programmed with the VIN and of Couse the year make and model of the car Thru GM

Our 2007 base Sky SEEN HERE, bought with 118,000 miles.

$4,700 - purchase price (it was a rough car)
$600 - tax, title, plates, drive-it-home transport
$5,700 - investment to make the car show worthy
$11,000 - total investment

I should have bought a low mileage one for a little more money. Oh well.
