Hello,

Just ordered these from TireRack (they don't list under Saturn Sky/Solstice). Had to look for 2003 Saab 9-3, and +1 to get 18" and under 20lbs

They are +38mm, so hoping they look and fit right. Chatted with Gus at TireRack, he will include rings and lugnuts for the other OZ wheels listed for the Kappa series cars, and thinks they should be OK (and said maybe they should add them to available for our cars).

https://www.tirerack.com/wheels/WheelCloseUpServlet?target=runWheelSearch&wheelMake=O.Z.&wheelModel=Leggera+HLT&wheelFinish=Bright+Race+Grey&autoMake=Saab&autoModel=9-3+Vector&autoYear=2003&autoModClar=With+Rubber+Valve+Stems

Please post your thoughts, or if I just made a mistake for the 2008 Saturn Sky Redline M/T with Trifecta tune but stock otherwise.

Thank you!

The wheels aren't to my taste personally, but the biggest problem I think is that they are +38 offset. They should fit but since the stock offset is +50 (or is it 55, I don't remember now?) they will be sticking out quite a bit more than I prefer.

It's +55mm. The +38 should stick out about 2/3 of an inch over stock, all other dimensions being equal.

Our Solstices and Skys have a hub centric center bore of 65.1mm.

:dunno:

Thanks! I'm hoping they barely stick out if at all, and the tires clear upon compression. All the tirerack wheels listed were +40mm, figured what can 2mm possibly do and Gus agreed.

They are very light and strong, so that was top priority. Should save about 6lbs of unsprung and rotational weight at each corner.

I'll post pics whenever they get here.

I have the 18" Enkei pf01 +40 offset on my car and they are almost flush with the fender, you definitively are going to feel the difference. My car felt like it was tuned. Another benefit is that you could also run the Brembo brakes from the cobalt ss or the hhr ss without spacers or longer studs :) and they are about 5 lbs ligther per corner, so that's another 5 lbs of unsprung weight.

Wheels are going to save you almost 6 lbs of rotational mass and if you buy aftermarket lug nuts that is another 1 lb, also buy lighter tires mine are 2 lbs lighter in comparison to the stock goodyear tire

:)

Thanks! Got them installed, Gus at Tirerack is the man.

Had to search under Saab 9-3 to see what they carried, Gus shipped with the 65.06mm centering rings required for other OZ rims for the Kappa's. He also included the proper lugnuts. He mentioned the centercaps would not fit, but they have 5mm+ of space and work just fine.

If they were any lower offset, I would not be pleased with how far they stick out, currently they are flush with fender, and upon compression don't hit the body (not lowered)

Acceleration doesn't seem much quicker, but you can definitely tell braking and turning is easier. Feels like the car dropped 200 lbs (about the same difference as when you have a heavy passenger and then drive again alone). Traction loss is a bit quicker when in competitive mode.

Hopefully the slow leak is gone forever.
