Was going to go out for a drive on Sunday. Car started right up but prior to the idle settling I pulled the transmission into D and the car stalled. It then went into safe mode. I did down load the code below with the data set as shown. Any suggestions? Maybe just clear and see what happens? Car is 09 Redline 8700 miles-Thanks!!

The DTC indicates a short to ground on the pressure regulator control line.

Your fuel pressure is slightly high for idle (508-798 psi), but it looks like you are still above idle speed so that may be normal.

Resetting it and trying again shouldn't hurt anything.

Unfortunately, the repair listed most frequently is to replace the high pressure fuel pump, but your mileage is way low for that.
Has anything else happened? It could also be an electrical wiring or connector problem..

No other issues or problems other than the startup. I did wash the car but I don't ever use high pressure rise or cleaning.

I'll clear and see what happens.

zzperformance is about the only place where they are reasonably priced. $199....otherwise every other place I've found them, they're $400+...I just posted how easy it is to do your HPFP....

What about the resistance across the solenoid on the pump if i disconnect the connector and the expected voltage at the connector?

I also found that my PVC line from the airbox had broken at the barb so essentially was not functioning, from the looks of the break I likely did it when I checked the air filter-lesson learned there! Would that cause the HPFP to throw a code?

The resistance from pin to pin (engine off, unplugged) is supposed to be 0.49 +/- .023 ohm and from either pin to the case is supposed to be infinite.
A temperature of 68F / 20C is specified for the test, but who knows if that is actually critical.

You get a P0091 if the voltage is less than 2.7 volts when commanded off.

P0091 is only indicated as an electrical fault, so probably nothing to do with a broken fitting.

Back up and running a new HPFP did the trick. Changed the oil and filter after to be safe as I'm guessing a lot of fuel was dumped in to the motor. Runs great just need to plan some trips now. Also likely going to leave the engine cover off and the insulator as the motor looks really nice with out it.
