I live about 200 hunderd miles from where i will pick up my sky. I know there is a break-in peroid. Does anybody know if driving it at 70 miles per hour or less will harm the engine.

It is good to vary your speed some...but

You should be fine...the tech at my dealership said the ecotech engine is very forgiving during its break-in period......

Vary your RPM. Shift between 4th and 5th periodiclly. I wouldn't care if the engine is forgiving. I would error on the safe side and do a proper break-in. Remember your trip home is almost half the break-in period.

This is what the book says Sarge.

Do not drive at any one constant speed, fast or slow.

Do not exceed 70 mph.

Do not make full-throttle starts; also refrain from using the full throttle while driving. Avoid downshifting to brake, or slow, the vehicle.

Avoid making hard stops for the first 200 miles.
