The 2.4L and the 2.0L Turbo are both GEN II Ecotec blocks. Meaning the part below the head is the same. I believe the 2.0 is just not bored out as much. The strokes should be very similar.

You are correct in assuming the GXP will have more standard equipment than the base Solstice. The GXP will more than likely be equally equip'd as the base Sky plus a few more options. We know the base Sky is about $24k when you add the missing items. Add the $4-$5K upgrade charge and we are talking just under $29K.

Let me add, I seriously doubt the Redline or GXP will exceed $30K as this would be asking just to much given the grade level of the trim.

I'd like to see better Suspention and Brake packages for the GXP/Redline
