On youtube there are many videos about luxury cars ( cars and SUVs having an initial sticker price of over 60K) losing 20 or 30 percent of their value in 3.5 years.

With the worst performers being the X3 and the Escalade.

That's okay. Those owners knew what they were getting into and got their money out of their cars.

But eh. If you purchased a Saturn Sky 3.5 years ago - the dealer price for your car today would be about the same as it was then.

At least according to the model at carguru. See the attachment.

With it's Covette/Tesla like appearance the Sky is a STILL head turner - assuming the owner keeps it waxed and keeps good tires on it.

I purchased a 2007 NA in January 2007 in San Jose for 7.6K (with 95K miles)

My car, with it's enhancements, would probably sell at a dealership for 9K today (although it as 128K miles on it).

Actually, it's a better car now than it was in 2017.

I figure I did well with my car....although I will not sell mine.....I paid 28600 including tax back in Jan 06....with a 14 yr depreciation....I figure I can easily get 15K. It only has 41K on it and in mint condition. This is not a solicitation. LOL
