The Sky is coming to the UK!!!! as an Opel, but you are also going to get some of the european ranges shipped to the US, seems like a bit of an unfair exchange as the Sky looks great and the 'Astra' and 'Corsa' are not exactly heart-stoppingly pretty things.

The Sky did not really come from there. The Sky is on the Kappa Platform which was developed here. The styling for the Sky was taken from the Vauxhall concept car, which is over there. However, the Opel GT is a rebadged Sky with the features of the Redline.

It was a Kappa concept car. As mentioned they used the exterior/interior design ideas Vauxhall came up with to design the Sky. The platform was still designed and developed here though.

It is a Sky Redline just with Opel badges on it, so yes it'll be made on the same line as the normal Sky, normal Solstice, Sky Redline, and Solstice GXP.
