Chevy has pretty well put the stabil myth to bed. If you drive a volt there is no use of stabil, and after 1 year if you have not run through a tank, the car makes you run down to 1/3 of a tank. So if your just parking for 4 or 6 months, there is no need to add stabil.

Top up and latched, butress down. The reason for this is to stretch the roof out. Especially if you leave it down all summer.

I used Cab Fresh in my corvair for years, kept the mice out and smells ok. One trip in spring and the car was back to normal.

Another tip not discussed park on plastic or wood, to get the tires off the concrete. Of course most of us drive the tires off the car anyhow so not sure how much we need to worry about the tires.

The thread reminds me I need to get a good trickle charger for the battery.

Good info Davhamm...all news to me. Though I drive all year round so the issue of "storage" really isn't a concern here. :) Not driving it for a weekend because I'm doing work with the truck is the most "storage" it sees. LOL
