I was reading all these posts this morning and wondering if a Sky owners club would form...seems a logical extension. There has been so much interest that more and more postings are flying across here everyday.
If the car can maintain a high level of enthusiasm and create loyalty from its owners then I'm sure clubs will pop up.
We'll need the constant updates on maintanence, after market accessories and stuff like I hope we keep adding on this forum. It's sometimes hard to track all this information on the forum b/c threads start out on one topic and mutate into others, like Sky Baby's two-piece, then I forget what I was reading about.
I was bored so I searched for clubs at the sol forum. Of course, these are all sol specific except for the WCKCC.
some of the links are just to meet and greets, people will all meet and go for a drive or have dinner and a drive. Not officially a club, but just people with something in common. I am seeing more and more sky's in their pics though.
you might want to give a sol club a call and see if they are expanding to let the sky crowd in or just wait to see if any sky clubs start on their own.
either way, here are a few links--
I Would Definitly Be Interested If There Was A Michigan Or Ontario Or An Eastern Canada Club. It Maybe Just Abit Early Yet.[ Dont Even Have The Car Yet,but Even May11 Would Be Fine] IF SOLSTICE CLUBS ACCEPTED SKYS THAT MAYBE THE ANSWER
i'm from philly so I would think an east coast club would be kool. if you are from the area i would think the best places to meet are down the jersey shore some time in the summer, especially when enough people have gotten their skys. what better place to show the cars off then the beach. anyone near the area: new jersey, pennsylvania, new york, maryland, etc.?
expected: end of april early may
