For the last year i have been looking for a Lotus Evora. My criteria list included color, Canyon Red with black interior, 2+2, 6 speed, all three option packages and low miles. Since the Evora is a relatively rare car, only a thousand or so in country, shopping was coast to coast looking for the "right" one.

Oddly, the car finally matched my list came for sale about 75 miles from our place. Mrs. 2late and I went up a couple of weeks ago to look at it and found the car to be in like new condition with 4595 miles on the odometer.

Last Wednesday I asked Dave Gilbert @Werks if he would go take a look at it with me. He agreed and we went to Addison, Il to look at the car. Dave agreed with my assessment of condition. I made a deposit and went up Thursday to complete the transaction. Drove it home, with one stop at AutoZone to pick up a temp cover and parked in the garage next to the Sky.

This is Monique's new stablemate and BFF:

You do know the depreciation on that car will scare you. I'd like to save you all that depreciation and just buy it from you now.
Considering depreciation I can offer you half what you paid for it right now.

Enjoy! that is a great car.

Nice - Congrats!

I took a picture with my sky next to an Evora once that was parked at the local rite-aid. Wonder where that pic is.. . Hell of a car - I was surprised to see they actually put an interior in it having test driven some Elise' before.

I am downright jealous :)

Still love the Sky and sunny days with the top down. I always wanted a Lotus and the Evora allows us to use it for trips. Thanks for your comments.
