Does anyone have any input on stockpiling parts? I notice more and more parts are being discontinued. I have started collecting items I feel may be needed down the road, but was curious what others thought.

I’ve never been good at predicting the future and collecting parts. I do save the OE parts when I make a modification, like when I replaced the stock console with the DDM Works one with cup holders.

I think that the top-to-windshield seal is not available, but I also thought that about the door window seals, so .....

I do know that 10 years ago that seal listed for something like $500.

Edit: found em! Holy mother of @%%! wtf, 600 dlls for the weatherstripping. Does a new convertible top include that?

well bit the bullet, $218 for the door weatherstripping, strip and retainer, so not too horrible. The rear ones (the bend ones on the top) are the ridiculous ones, 135 each, and there are 4 of them as well.

No. That weatherstrip is attached to the top of the windshield frame.
