And I entered it as well, happens to work out for this Canadian living in the USA!!!. You know the longer I live down here the more I find in what Canada lacks and the USA has. I find it kind of sad, love my home country but I dont think I will ever move back.101jinx101 said:anyone see the sweepstakes on www.saturn.com? you can win a sky... well, AMERICANS can win a sky, they don't offer it to canadabut yeah, it's right on the homepage... which they've redesigned, btw.

My grandmother was Canadian and her two sisters also found solace in the lower provinces. One aunt retained her Canadian citizenship but at an advanced age refused to travel back each year as required to stay legal. Are those rules still in effect where you, Kim , would have to return to the motherland at least once every year?Kimberly Clothier said:And I entered it as well, happens to work out for this Canadian living in the USA!!!. In fact I had to apply to the Canadian government,a indication of why I was in the USA and if I planned to stay here. I just put that that was not decided and that I travel home 4 times a year. I dont know how it will work when I want my pensions that are up there though. It took 5 years and lots of money to get my legal alien status. The only problem with all of it is that I have great credit in Canada and none here. That is why I had to go home to Ontario to lay down a deposit for my Sky. The good thing to that is that when I pay with American money it makes my payments cheaper for me. So yes to your question, you still have to return home on a regular basis.achieftain said:My grandmother was Canadian and her two sisters also found solace in the lower provinces. It apparently was consolation for not being able to participate in the Apprentice shenanigans. Ended in May, don't know who won.Lost Sol said:I did not know about that ... you learn something new everyday.
