i am still laughing as i am typing this response........i needed that.....it really made me laugh... to think that we are all so wrapped up with the status of our order that we forget we can laugh at the situation instead of losing control........thanks again, i feel alot better now!!!!!!!!!!!!

Guy who sits across from me: "Did you get your car yet?"

Guy who sits next to me: "Did you get your car yet?"

My Boss: "Did you get your car yet?"

My boss's boss: "Did you get your car yet?"

Before I go the car everyone was asking "Did you get the car yet?". Finally, a week after I got it, someone put a sign up on my cube wall/door which said "Did I tell you I got my car?".

I slowed down on my bragging. I just let the car do it now.

Sounds like a common problem with people...asking if it the car has come in yet. My office was asking every day too- could be because I am the boss and they were sucking up...or more likely due to the fact they knew that when it did come in, I would be so happy, most work would end for the day while I celebrated. WELL, I got the call on Friday about 2:00 and from then out, we all just sat around talking about it, (between me calling the insurance company to get the binder done and the bank getting the paperwork done)- nothing else for work got done, and now they are all looking forward to Monday when I bring in the car...another couple hours of paying people to oooh and ahhh. What the heck, it's worth it!:cheers:

This is so true - I go thru the same thing every day at work except there are about 15 people who stop me as I walk through the plant as well!
