Came 3rd in my class ( beat a GT-R with a seasoned driver) and 5th overall (29 cars) Car gets better with $ thrown at it but the driver is still the loose nut behind the wheel. Fast car was a Miata on the short course :surprise: TOO MUCH FUN ! Great sponsors and club.

G-Force R1-S's with a couple km's on coarse asphalt. The lot had been cleaned but it was dusty as heck. They were a bit slick to start but improved. I got the "Cone Killer" top score. I might try the Potenza 71-R's and FE2 front bar next Sunday. Thanks for your advice Robotech!

I've been playing Sunday's runs over in my head and my car is not quite neutral so the FE2 might get me closer. HP+ pads in the rear changed the brake bias for the better. Driving a short distance to the event on the R1-S's, I felt like Fred Flintstone in his stone wheel car, rough and noisy. Very different car...

Mid corner but I was driving very aggressively (as I should be). Pushing it past the edge, somethings got to give. It quickly hooked up again and I was able to keep the line somewhat. Running 34 front and 32 rear. The tires are very square and I was not very close to the sidewall wear line.

Yea, you could probably use a bit more roll and get a bit more bite out of the tires if you're not near the sidewall tread. Reducing tire pressure would help too on the front. I'm assuming it's pushing...front not grabbing mid corner? Having a softer bar would help...what coil overs are on the car? Stock or something else?

BC coilovers, 6K front 7K rear. Front and rear set at around 15 clicks to start the season. FE3 front ZOK rear. It's pushing but not as bad as last year. Gonna try 32 front 30 rear tire pressure. I don't want to cord the new skins! When will you be competing again?

Sounds about right. Which reminds me, I need to order 6K springs for my BCs. I have 5K up front now and it's just too much...then again, I'm running an FE2 front bar which is even softer than what you have. With the 5K springs and FE2 I had to firm the fronts up full and soften the rears fully to get it balanced.

I ran this weekend along with @jgassor in his Sky but I was driving my GFs Hyundai Veloster. I hope to have my Sky ready again come to the next event in September.

They put us back in the compact class this last weekend and Jim did VERY well. I'll let him tell it though.
