My Saturn dealership does not give good hope on getting a sky when it first comes out. They told me they are only going to get 2 a month and whichever salesmans customer gets there first is who gets the car. They seemed so sure you won't be able to order it, that they will just get some in and you have to take what you get. This makes me mad since I have been on their list for over a year now. I will get sooooooo mad if someone who just recently found out about the car gets one before me. I think that each dealership should have made up only one master list(interested buyers) for this car, first come first serve.
Since it doesn't look like I will be getting one in 2006 I think I might try and get a new audi TT 2005 while they still have them, since they are not making the 2006 in cali. I don't want to loose my chance at that because I am sick of waiting and I don't want to have to wait now until 2007 to get a new car. I have been in this wait since I found out about the Solstice. :banghead:

Those dealers know zero, if you are not happy with whoever you are talking to then go to the manager.
Look at all the Saturn dealers on here, they will tell you the same thing, that is not the way Saturn does business.
They also dont KNOW how many cars they are getting or what they are getting. We have all told you to hold on, you will get your car in 2006. NO one knows much of anything yet, so just come on here everyday, say hello and see what news is out there. You know this is where you will here it first anyway.

It probably isn't your dealer. It's in the San Gabriel Valley. When I went there last year they seemed soooooooo nice. Today they seemed like cocky jerks hee hee hee I feel better now that I got that out. I really can't go anywhere else now because it's too late, there are already about a million people wanting this car. I am sure I would be last on any other dealers list now. Okay I will keep the faith and if I don't get the car I will just choose my second choice

Try another dealer? You're dealer isn't on the same wavelength as the dealers on here or even my dealer. I'd suggest them if it wasn't like 3k miles from you. GL!

My dealer is also in Southern California, in the San Fernando Valley. It's called "Saturn of the Valley". I'm very pleased with the service, thusfar. The General Manager called me when the car came and has been patient with my impatience. :brentil:

Just call around I am sure there are plenty of dealers without a bunch waiting, My dealer here in tennessee have only 4 with deposits, and I am number one... and he told me that the 2 a month was correct for every dealer no matter what the size...

The car at Saturn of the Valley was red. I was told by the GM, who was just visited by Jill the week before, that it was the "final" final".... it had badging on it that wasn't on the silver one we saw at the car show. There were a few modifications done (for the better in my opinion) since the silver demo one was made. I outlined the details of the car at the dealership in a thread. Maybe you can just look through my posts. It wasn't more than a month ago...
