ok i got a paper from my dealer today and it says it is at event 3000
the order went in on 5-9-06 so when does it go to the next step.

i know this has been discussed before but i could not find it

I wish there was a definative answer to your question. it seems the TPW (tenative production weeks) are more accurate. You are basically waiting for a TPW. I've seen some on here with TPWs as far out as June 22nd. I would guess that you'll have a TPW assigned within the next 3 weeks. After it hits that week, your car will move through some codes and end up with 038 (produced). At this time you can find your VIN number. Not sure how long it takes from this point but it seems to be faster than it was in the past.
