My last large item sitting in my garage....someone in Florida. Do not wish to ship. In pretty good shape....R/L Valance...but I do have a passenger door panel from a 2006 in black....that means there is no window switch and that is 50 dollars....if no shipping.
Do you have some pics of the valance?

WOW! I am impressed. I would never take my car on the highway down here. The trucks would destroy my windshield with the sand and rocks they spew from their tires.
Marlboromike , have to go to Tampa quite a few times in the next month, first trip on the 2nd and staying overnight around the 14th so I could possibly get it from you if it works out
Looks like your still another hour south of Tampa but doable

That's true...and if u wish, I can install it for you. It is just push pins. The most difficult part...and it is not difficult is just removing the back up light and reinstalling but it is no big deal.
Thanks, I've pretty much torn the whole car apart and if it works out I'll probably just have enough time to come down , talk Kappa's and head back.. been dealing with some health challenges last 2 years and go to Moffitt in Tampa more than I would like.. cars been therapy and as it was my moms car its been sentimental journey as well.
Just started fixing all the door dings as I've already done the front quarters and front and rear clips. Just had to decide which of the 3 color "matches " to go with, none of them where right on, all close but didn't want to paint the hood and trunk just to match the color but will end up hopefully getting her one shade of green finally...

The trunk and hood are still the factory green, the color i'm going with is on the right, closest in shade but a tad darker. Still a nice color, not one I'd have picked out but its grown on me and gets more comments than anything I've owned🤷♂️

Since u live in Florida, every color variation will show because of the sun....all areas of the car should be identical but that is impossible on all our cars. Our cars are a composite of different materials and they will always be different....the sun only exacerbates this.
Agreed...And trying to match any paint with metallic thats 15 years old is nearly impossible, I could tell where it had been "matched" before on the door and quarter panel.
The door dings where/ are bad and first thing i see when I look at the car...

You can see the first attempt from the paint shop on the quarter panel , much darker... and the door dings are worse than the picture shows. I don't mind some differences in the panels but would like it to at least be the same color .
I may still try and save the factory paint on the hood and trunk. Not that noticeable unless your looking for it. Hated having to redo almost everything on the car and loosing most of the original car.. 12 years as a grocery getter for a little old lady living a block from the beach didn't do the car or me any favors. It sat under a carport at least but got beat by the sun all morning. Why the clear on the taillights didn't survive as well. At least now they are one of a kind, trying to look at the positive with as many issues as the car had🤷♂️
The chrome on the factory rims was so bad they wouldn't hold a bead and not worth saving, coudnt find any reasonable locally. Thats what started the " black out" as most the other chrome was as bad and very expensive to replace all the trim...

About those ugly door dings. There is a very affordable solution for them no matter how many and where they are on your Sky. Find a guy in your area like THIS GUY IN MY AREA. It was the best $300 I spent on my Sky.
For best results, buff and polish out your Sky's body. Every minor imperfection, no matter how minor it is, mark it with an arrow made of painter's tape. My Sky had over 20 such dings and one gentle crease all around my Sky including the hood and rear deck lid. I even had a huge vertical gentle ripple in my driver's door that the guy removed. That one along with most other imperfections could be seen only after a good polishing.
The guy came to my house and was done and gone in less than 2 hours.
