Finished changing all forward lights to LED’s, installed the stubby antenna, and applied two good coats of wax.
Did some research into tires and wheels.
Undecided as to whether to stay with 18’s, or go to 19’s. This offset has me wondering, especially if I want to go bigger brakes.

Got it out and took advantage of the still fairly decent weather.

Installed the cooling system check valves just to see if it makes a difference.

Enlisted the help of a friend and his hoist to install DDM Pro Beam and swapped out the stock exhaust and cat for Solo high flow cat and Mach exhaust.

Fixed? The dang radio.....
A number of buttons were unresponsive. Some of the present wouldn’t work, couldn’t switch bands, etc, etc,
It was stuck on one FM band. No AM, no XM, CD and AUX worked.
Looked into an aftermarket unit but waaay more than I wanted to spend.
Pulled the dash apart, fiddled with it a bit, and guess what?
Radio
Not the most fun I’ve ever had as some of the panels were testy ,but not as bad as it looked.

and, I have a buddy with a lift...

For some reason, the outer lower window rubber moulding on the driver’s side of mine was quite rough to the touch and pretty well dried out.
Passenger side was smooth and nice as a baby’s bottom.
Took some 600 paper and carefully wet sanded it, treated it with a combination of snake oil products I have.
Let it sit with stuff on it for a day, and it’s good as new.

Unpacked and threw an eye over the set of Norm’s front fenders that I found on the FB Solstice/Sky classifieds.
Gonna be off to the painter pretty quickly.
Hoping to make the drive on Monday to pick up the front splitter and rear diffuser.
Waiting on my goodies from Performance Autowerks.

Made the 9 hour round trip to Elkhart Indiana to meet Norm and pick up my splitter and rear diffuser. Enjoyed the opportunity to talk with him and got to see the operation. The amount of time and effort that goes into his various pieces is amazing. Incredible craftsmanship.

Installed Werks charge pipes, 3 bars, and intake. Loaded the tune and sent back the data logs.

Got my revisions to the tune and she’s good to go.

swapped out the plugs just for the fun of it. by the looks of the old ones, it’s running beautifully.

Resurrected an old thread and did the alternating side marker/turn signal mod and waiting for my MGB parts that are two days late to arrive…..

Test fit my front fenders from Norm before sending out for paint. Had a few minor tweaks and they are good to go.
Not to mention that’s it’s always good when you have a friend who is a body man
