Hello all!

Anxiously awaiting my little blue R/L and I was just wondering what other features made you go 'Hey!'

I know we got onstar and lsd etc but was there something, some feature, you weren't expecting that surprised you?

Let us know cause I expect delivery in (lets see...carry the 2...umm) within the next year?

I like the feature where people's jaws drop as you pass by, otherwise known as Crap Your Pants At First Sight or CYPAFS (pronounced See-Paf-z).

CPAFS is not listed as an option on the Saturn website for some reason, perhaps because it is standard equipment. Often times I'll be driving and I totally forget that the Sky has CPAFS and then you'll pull up to a corner where a group of girls are sitting, or maybe next to a Miata at a stoplight and you look over and remember that your CPAFS is working. In the end, Its good to knows there and really makes you feel secure out on the road.

It's really stupid but I get SUCH a kick out of having the roof up and as I approach the car (usually there are a few lookers when I do this) I hit the remote and the Buttresses POP up and the trunk opens -- gets a chorus of ooohh and ahhs every time. Even a suprised squeal or two from the easily startled.
The other was the Monsoon Sound
WOW... Just WOW

My unexpected feature is the silly grin I get every time out! It does get bigger during a run on a curvy road - mostly caused by the handling of this car - IMHO very tight and flat.

I also agree with the Monsoon sound! Much better than I expected... Never thought I'd be getting a back massager in the passenger seat with a stock sub!! Verry nice!!

I also never expected how hard it is to stop turning around and look at it in the parking lot when you go somewhere! I seriously catch myself turning around at least a dozen times to both make sure it's ok and to just admire its looks!! :D

Me too.

But, I wasn't expecting that my cheeks would hurt so bad from assuming this position for hours on end when driving My Sky.

Not to sound ignorant, but

Did anyone get Auto-dimming mirror / compass & thermometer?
How would I know if I have these features since I didn't order this car? I do see the outside temp. is displayed on the dash which I don't think is accurate because it says it's hotter than the local news radio says it is. My big thing is the constant desire to drive and think of the longest way to get home.:willy:

Temps are hard to measure -- what you are hearing on the radio is a temperature 10 15 miles away most likely -- temps will vary as much as 5 degrees from one side of a house to the other! So the temperature your seeing is most likely accurate -- it is the Temp where YOUR SKY is.
I have been an electronic instrumentation Specialist for over 20 years and Temps are my specialty!

Where should I start??

- I enjoyed the comment at the gas station..."is that a Ferrari?"
- Enjoy every right light that I'm at.....I call them Red Light Districts now
- Short throw stick is nice
- Everything is reversed on this car.....trunk, hood, door handles....
- Sub woofer behind the passenger seat.....ladies love that
- Top up = Professional Look
- Top down = Where's the party at

I could go on and on and on and on.....

Ladies and Gentlemen, has the Sky become the new mullet? I finally understand the choice of the fine steward who gently shepherded the prototypes around the country! Mullet-man, I still miss you. You were both behind the times and ahead of your time at once! I salute you! If I could stand Old Milwaukee, I'd gladly lift one to you!

Not an option on the Sky (base or R/L)...yet. However, I read on the Sol forum that a few owners have gone 'aftermarket' with an autodim/compass mirror.

Thanks for the reply, I recall seeing that "option" in a photo on a SKY brochure.
