Will the Redline and the Base Sky have the same wheels width? Also does anyone know what exactly the width is? I have seen both 8 and 8.5 stated but I can't get a definitive answer.

The base and RL Sky's use 18" x 8" wheels. They both also use 245/45x18" tires.

I have been looking for aftermarket wheels (since I chose to order during the chrom wheel freeze) and I find 18 x 7.5 and 18 x 8.5 wheels.

Are these OK to use??

What is the impact on rodability, tire ware, and anything else of using a wider or narrower wheel?

:willy:

The vehicle was built and designed the 18"x8" wheels. Altering the wheel could have an inverese effect on handling charactersistics. Thing is though the difference in handling might not even be enough for you to notice. If you use an appropriately sized tire you might not have any issues either.

Check our supporters, they sell 18"x8" as does tirerack.com.
