I read on other forums that one of the problems with the RL's is water getting in the air intake on the turbo. If that is the case, the air intake must be positioned so as to either allow rain directly in or from splashing from the tires. Can any of you Redline owners shed some light? I await your response. Perhaps there are some pictures?

I find this unlikely, because even if the air filter was located directly next to the tire, you'd have to go through a DEEP puddle to suck water in.

There are thousands of people that drive with Cold Air Intakes that have a filter very low on the car and/or right next to the tire and as long as you don't go through DEEP puddles, you're ok.

I'm sure the problem is tuning the computer to mix the fuel & air properly... the problem is probably pressure-related... either the turbo is generating too much boost and it's surging or the turbo isn't generating enough boost and the car is mis-firing.
