I bought my Sky because the Z4 M was too expensive. I do hope the next generation Sky has 330 hp and a power soft top.

It's a strange thing... I've always driven big cars all of my life, Cadillacs and Oldsmobiles mostly. I've never had a performance car and never really wanted one. I've recently moved to British Columbia, which has very hilly terrain and my two Oldsmobiles were underpowered to say the least. Since I'm 56 and retired, I thought I'd treat myself to a "toy" for the first time in my life. I've had a number of convertibles, but nothing this small. I call it my "late life crisis". So far I'm enjoying the hell out of it. I'm a conservative driver and baby my vehicles so haven't even unleashed its potential yet. Nice to know it's there though.

i was looking the Nissan 350Z, that in spain it,s a expensive car(44.000euros or 66.000dolars) but a friend call me, because he works in a magazine of cars and drove a Opel GT, and recomend me the opel GT, and now i,m happy because in the last race in the Track Jarama in Madrid, my car was faster than 350Z and more funny.... I am in love

I wanted to pick mid-life crisis, but I don't feel I've hit mid-life yet, although the wife will tell ya' otherwise!

Ever since I first saw the concept photos, I knew I'd own one, someday. Just coming back from Iraq, I thought it was time to treat myself to something nice! The dealer had the one I wanted on the lot, so here I am!

Was in the market for a 2-seater and at first liked the SOL. Got wind of the SKY, saw pictures, feel in love with the look. Always wanted to get a British Racing Green TR-6, now have a Forrest Green SKY - close enough and the price was right.

My wife always wanted a sports car. We bowl and on the way to the lanes we pass a Pontiac and then a Saturn dealership. She saw the Solstice and wasn’t impressed, but when she saw the Sky, a whole different story. After months of boy I love that car, I just had to break down and buy her a fully loaded Chili Red Turbo!
HI, I ALSO HAVE A CHILLI RED SKY '08 AND TOTALLY "LOVE IT".....A FEMALE THAT JUST HAD TO HAVE IT.....AND ITS GREAT IN MYRTLE BEACH..............BEV

The SKY just spoke to me as soon as I saw it!! I had a Feiro years ago it also spoke to me the first time I saw it and I loved driving it. I've had SUVs since the Feiro died, they have been just a car to get from point A to B, the SKY is a totally different experience.

I can't wait for it to arrive, late May hopefully.

Also one other thing that I like is that the SKY has personality, most cars these days are aerodynamic blobs with no style they all look the same. And I need to have some fun brought back into my driving experience.

Walked away from Porsche when

I was all set to buy a used 2003 Boxster, then I test drove the 2008 Sky Redline based on a recommendation of a good friend. Walked back into the sales dep't and negotiated a deal 2 days later for 2008 Black/Black fully loaded Redline 5 spd. Lucky for me the dealership I walked into in Hartford CT had the exact one I wanted, and the only one in the state.
Basically it came down to price, financing 2.9% and torque in a car that many others in CT don't have. Not a day goes by that I don't get a second look or question about the car which only magnifies the decision I made as being the right one.
