I’m new to the forums but have been trying to research options for my sound system. Most of the posts I’ve found are in the distant past and I can’t seem to get any real answers from the local installers. Does anyone know of a replacement subwoofer and amp? My Sky didn’t have the factory sub or amp so trying to find suggestions. Thanks!

I don't believe that is quite true. At some point (either 2008 or 2009) the factory started using the "grilled" part even for cars without the Monsoon system (they just didn't have anything behind it). Probably was easier than having to stock both the grilled and non-grilled parts.
The best way to see if the car came equipped with Monsoon is to look at the codes on the glove compartment sticker.
