Does anyone know if the ECU has to be reprogramed if a GM Cold Air Intake is installed? I'm wondering if the computer can recognize the increased airflow and richen the fuel mixture as needed.

Un hook the battery for 20 to 30 min, then hook it up it will relearn the the fuel/air mix...Seal9
ECU reprograming helps but is not required to get the benefits of the CAI. Unplugging the batter and letting it sit will remove any timing changes the engine has made and return it to the default. At that point it will maintain those timing settings unless it detects knock.
