Forum,

How many of you golf? And if you do, where do you put the clubs? I can think of only two options. One is to trade with the wife for a day and put them in her car. The other is to put towels all over the passenger seat and secure the bag with seat belts to protect the car from scratches. Any other options? Give up golf?

The clubs will ride shotgun... the car may get a little scratched on the interior... you're gonna catch chips in the paint from rocks kicked up in the road from time to time... why sweat it. Enjoy your car.

Or

You can, leaving the top up, Carfully pack them into the trunk.

You would be suprised what you can actually fit into the trunk.

PS
Only take the clubs that you REALLY use and you'll do fine.

 You gotta love the Stooges! Just seems like we don't have that kind of humor anymore...:cryin: Thanks wtga. I play like they do, more like a landscaper. Good question, looks like the Sky will hold some of my golf, I mean landscaping tools.

I golf and wife doesn't...the easiest for me will be for the clubs to right shotgun when I am by myself to the course...if I need more room will take the sportswagon with room for 4 people and 4 sets of clubs...

"Devoking" is correct, get a smaller bag and load in only the clubs you actually use. In fact, I found a "Driving Range" bag (some call it a day bag) which is about 30" long, shaped like a large letter "J" and has about a six inche round opening at the top.
PHP:
It has a zipper the lenght of it with a shoulder strap and small bag for your 'Ts' and balls.

It holds about six clubs. Driver, putter, 3 -7 -9 and a sand wedge.

You can get two of those bags in the trunk with the top DOWN!

Pack like you are going on a submarine and not some darn cruise ship!

Wow Thanks!

Thanks for the pics of the trunk! That was very helpful for me. I've been wondering all these months if I would ever be able to drive my baby to work because I didn't know if all my work gear would fit in it. Now I know! Looks like a summer full of afterwork late night crusies for me. :D Thanks again.

The bag you see in my post above has a complete set of clubs (1 huge driver, 4 Woods, 5 irons, 3 wedges, and putter and even a ball retriever) and the bag has an extending stand -- but best of all it does fit with the top down.

Went golfing and took my Sky the second day I had it (9/2/06). Top DOWN - bag fit just fine. Shoes and everything else went on the sides. No wife, empty pass seat.

I guess it all depends on how big the bag is...mine fit great top down.

Your results may vary.

Thanks Team! I really was not optimistic on this. When I visited the Kappasphere site and looked at all that fitted luggage, my first reaction was to forget about the golf clubs. But seeing is believing! Appreciate the pictures so much!

be careful what or how u put stuff in ur trunk. i over did it and i noticed the trunk hatch near the back lights protruded upwards. id say about 1/2 inch. it will shut but it will bend the latch to the pointwhere the actually trink lid bends out. and the worst part u cant bend it back the hinge will crack and break. had to replace mine
