Sky convertible top mystery!

I am hoping to become a 2008 Sky redline owner in the near future. It checks out well with its history but the dealership that has it says it has one thing it needs to fix first before they release it for sale. They say they can’t find a replacement motor for the electric convertible top. From what I’ve spent literally hours researching, I don’t see that GM/Saturn ever put anything but manual tops on any model of the Sky in any of its three production years! I know it could be aftermarket But can anyone confirm for a FACT that there was never a GM factory installed electric convertible top for these vehicles? Appreciate any help with finally putting this question to rest. Thanks!

There was never a factory electric top, and I have not heard of any aftermarket options for it.

There are electric solenoids loosely associated with the top that release the buttresses when opening the trunk.

Page three of this document lists "Convertible Top, Manual Folding, with Glass rear Window" as standard for each variant of Sky for 2008. Nowhere is there an option for a power top.
