air bag light wont go off


I have an airbag light that comes on and stays on when you start engine...does anyone know how to reset or fix this problem

Something wrong with the Airbag System, take it to your dealer and have them look at it. The Airbag Deployment System is nothing to mess with on your....

Hi, just purchased a 'new to me' 2008 Sky Red Line this past week. I have always admired these cars from afar, and one showed up at the local GM dealer and I had to have her!

Looking forward to a topless summer and learning about the car on the forum and perhaps an occasional trip to the track!

(it just sux getting old lol) I had an 08 Sky and when I heard they werent going to make the Sky anymore I went out and traded for a new 09. I love the Sky its my favorite car of all time! I was living in Florida and now have retired after 28 years with Fedex and moved back home to Indiana. Its great to be back home and having all this time to spend washing and fixing up my Sky ! I love this forum to see all the pics of everyones cars and to get all the great info on products and of such on here. Its great! Thank you to everyone who shares the products you use and where you get them! I love this forum!

Well I guess I should be traditional and introduce myself before spamming your forums with questions and comments

My name is Lea, I live in Tampa Florida and work full time as a bartender at a local steakhouse. It's an absolute blast, I love entertaining and talking to people... well most of them, anyway. When I was sixteen my parents took out a loan for my current car, Lucifer the Hyundai Tiburon. It's been a trip from there... Clutch/flywheel, throttle body, TPS, IAC, MAF, gaskets, plugs, wires, coil pack, tranny rebuild, timing belt, water pump, vacuum leaks galore... I learned a lot about how cars work and as much as I enjoyed the final project each and every time I worked on her, I just can't handle it anymore.

So alas, three years later, I have put my nearly rebuilt baby up for sale and when she's found a new home I have my eye on a lovely silver N/A Sky 5-speed. Time to be a big girl and pay off my own car You seem like nice folks here, a lot more mature than my tib forums have been. I'm going to have to resist the "mod bug" as I want to keep my car as stock, reliable, and comfortable as possible, but damn you guys do some spiffy things to these cars I look forward to learning a lot from you folks, toodles!

I have mine listed but it wont come out the way yours is. Helpppp please lol... And welcome to Lea! You WILL love the Sky! They are awesome!!! I just moved from Tampa... Here is how I listed my signature. Just make sure to put each element on its own line and be sure to select a font, size and color if you desire.

 

...and try not to use all CAPS. :cheers:

Hellooo!

First forum ever! I have an '09 redline (since July 2008) and still love the daylight out of it. All options for a factory upgrade (exhaust, tune, intake) were taken advantage of, apart from the suspension. I have some questions about whether or not there exists any chance of selling the initial parts, as I made it a point to keep them. Any advice or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Mainly because I knew that once I got behind the wheel of one I would be hooked. I feel like I have a good idea of issues to check for when I test drive and I thank all of you for that. I have to be honest, these forums are part of why I am so absolutely certain that I want my Sky RL. You all seem so close knit and helpful to other members. Hopefully by this time next month I will be the proud new owner of a RL.

p.s. i have already started brainstorming on good personalized tags.lol

Welcome I have had 2 Sky's and I think they are the best! You will fall in love! Most the people on here are very helpful and there are lots of great ideas and products you can get for you new Sky

Test drove an 09 sunburst yellow one yesterday....hate to sound like a 13 year old teen, but OMG!!!! Driving that joker was pure exhilaration. I think I am sold. I told the dealer I would be back friday, i didnt want to make a purely emotional decision. 95% emotional, 5% rational works fine for me though. Looking forward to getting to know all of you...and hiding in the corner when MarlboroMike is around.
