Can we say that the separation platform is rotated by about 30°??
This is what I interpret from the photos you have posted. (red mirrors)

Back in the day, I was talking to Bob and he was going to look in his vault to see if he could locate the other mirrors. Fairly sure the conversation is in this forum. That never manifested, but my mirrors came through Robert in Calgary. Bob helped to secure this set as well. Not sure what color they were originally.

I have 5 Opel big mirrors, 2 on the Yellow car, and pair of black ones, and a single Kawasaki green one. Bob's wife Patty still has a bluestone base with a set on it.

Curtis, Bob's mechanic, got the Kawasaki green Sky and it had them at one time but I don't know if he kept them and my oddball green is a spare or he swapped back to the small mirrors and this is one of the big mirrors he took off.

A question for those that have the Opel big mirror.

The bottom part that is fixed to the door is equal on both mirrors?
Off-course the fixing points are identical but what about the rest of the part till the rotating split?

Is the split located at the same distance?

I try to compare at the pictures, but I can't see that they have the same dimension.

These are the best pictures I can get comparing them. The yellow car is parked a foot or so further forward of the blue car for perspective but hope this answers your question.
