I feel like the car already handles really well but I live in the Blue Ridge Mountains so it would probably be a good investment to get the Probeam. I do however like to gap cocky highschool kids in a straight piped civic from time to time too though. How much do Tune ups run for?
The Trifecta tunes range from $300-600.

RPM-motorsports.com tune is just under 400 for a custom tuned to your car via cable hooked to a little laptop they send you. Once the virtual appt is set, give yourself two hours to get the tune compete. It’s wonderful! Martin makes sure EVERYTHING is PERFECT before he lets you go. Then you send the laptop to next person that is waiting for a tune.
trifecta budget tune caused some check engine lights and power cuts on my previous Sky. So, I unistalled the trifecta tune and had RPM do it properly for me. So worth it. Car runs so well.
check the forums for tune threads: there’s a lot to read up on and there are good experiences and bad experiences.

Sorry for the late response, but yeah damn that looks super nice. Also side note is that Patrick star on the front bumper actually on the car lmao? Makes it 10 times better lol.
Same here with the late response. Yes, that decal is on the car. My wife and I both have them on our cars as we both autocross. That is basically a traffic cone screaming as I run over it...lol

Counterpoint: I had the Trifecta "budget" tune on my car for years, and would bet I drove harder than 95% of the other members on here, and it worked perfectly and never gave any trouble whatsoever.

Agree - I had the GMPP tune when under warranty and the Trifecta shortly after, and then a Trifecta custom tune when I fitted a big wheel turbo, Never had any complaint - works great.

I think the most recommended thing to do with a redline is a tune that I've seen so how would someone even go about doing that? I've seen youtube videos of people using HPTuners to do it so is that what you did?
Purchase the tune through GMPP and have it installed by your local GM dealer. Consists of added exhaust sensors and a flash.

Intake sensors.

Oh ok lol it looks a lot like patrick star from a distance but I see it now, still love it.
I think the eyes and mouth were...uhhh..."borrowed" from Patrick as almost everyone says that.

There are an lot of options but it really comes down to two types, canned tunes and true tunes. Canned tunes are tunes you can load on any Kappa with whichever engine and trans the tune is written for and will work on any of that type of car. Your stock tune is a canned tune. GMPP and the Budget Trifecta are both canned tunes. A true tune is a tune developed specifically for YOUR car by doing repeated data logs to fine tune the calibration file and get as much out of it as possible. Remote tuning, street tuning, and dyno tuning are all examples of true tuning processes. RPM, Hahn, DDM, PAW, Trifecta and ZZP all offer this service for our cars.

One note; The GMPP tune is the most conservative of all the tunes but if you live in CA, it is the only CA legal tune depending on the Model Year of your Red Line. As of July 19, 2021, CA smog tests will check your tune to see if it matches what Sacramento has on file.

my favorite mod is definitely changing out the shift knob. mine OEM one was sticky and falling apart, and since its the second most touched item in the car other than the steering wheel i definitely consider it a must do.

wrapping the center console & all the other chrome/silver bits in satin black is definitely a close second.
